    Animals:Hens were from an 11th generation population of Rhode Island Red chickens.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Birds were genotyped using the Affymetrix 600K chicken SNP chip and analyzed for egg quality traits at 72 and 80 weeks of age. A total of 294,705 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:Univariate and bivariate association analyses were performed using mixed models.
