    Animals:Birds were from 3 commercial varieties of White Leghorn chickens.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Birds were genotyped using the Affymetrix Axiom 600K chicken panel and analyzed for susceptibility to avian influenza following natural infection. A total of 396,650 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:For GWAS, a logistic model was applied for joined analysis of all samples, with the first three multidimensional scaling (MDS) components used as covariates. A genome-wide scan with Fst was also performed.
