    Animals:Animals were Valle del Belice sheep.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the Illumina OvineSNP50 BeadChip and analyzed for incidence of microtia. A total of 45,836 autosomal SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:GWAS was carried out using a univariate case-control model. Fisher's exact test and an F(ST) case-control analysis were also used.
