QTL Experiment in Brief |
Animals: | Animals were Danish Landrace and Danish Yorkshire pigs. |
Breeds associated:
|
Design: | Animals were genotyped using the GeneSeek Porcine 50K SNP chip and analyzed for bone mineral density. A total of 39,499 (Landrace) or 42,391 (Yorkshire) SNPs were used for analysis. |
Analysis: | GWAS was performed using the MLMA-LOCO (leaving one chromosome out) algorithm. Both populations were analyzed separately, then a meta-analysis was performed. |
Software: | GCTA, Haploview |
