    Animals:Animals were American and Danish Yorkshire pigs.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using the GeneSeek Porcine 50K SNP BeadChip, and GWAS was performed for total teat number. A total of 33,326 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:GWAS was performed using a linear mixed model, and to investigate the proportion of genetic variances explained by individual SNPs, a Bayes C(pi) model was used.
