The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Plant
Genetics Research Unit, Columbia, Missouri, invites applications for a
Biological Science Technician position GS-0404-8/9 ($49,549-$71,146 per
annum). A technician is needed to assist with cell and tissue culture and
the subsequent phenotyping of genome edited cells to identify improved
traits in poultry production. The successful incumbent will also assist
scientists in performing additional molecular biology research and routine
equipment management in a laboratory environment. The candidate will
collaborate with other ARS and university scientists. This is a full-time,
permanent appointment and U.S. citizenship is required.
