paretoheapsize

Set the size of the (internal) heap used by paretolkh and paretogreedy commands.

Synopsis :

The CarthaGene paretoheapsize command is invoked as either one of :

• paretoheapsize Options
• paretoheapsize NbMap

Description :

paretoheapsize sets the size of the map container used by paretolkh and paretogreedy commands. paretogreedy will resize the current heap using this value. paretolkh uses an internal heap the size of which will be set to this value (at the end of paretolkh function, the current heap size is set to the current number of selected markers). The default value is 1024.

Arguments :

• Options : -u to obtain the synopsis of the normal use, -h to print a one line description, -H to print a short help.
• NbMap : The number of maps the heap must contain. The NbMap argument must be a positive non null integer.
