Hello everyone!
I’m pleased to announce that we have briefly extended the application
deadline for our open position in Artificial Intelligence in Animal Omics
Sciences to accommodate those who may not have had time to apply during the
holidays and our busy week of virtual PAG meetings. This last round of
late arriving applications will be accepted until 1/21/2022.
The Department of Animal Sciences at the University of Florida, Institute
of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) in Gainesville, Florida is seeking
an Assistant/Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence in Animal Omics
Sciences.
The successful candidate will build an internationally recognized research
program by integrating artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, big data
science with phenomics (high-throughput, high-resolution phenotypic data),
genomics, transcriptomics, proteomic, metabolomic and/or microbiota to
address current and future challenges in animal sciences. Teaching
responsibilities may include an undergraduate and/or graduate courses
focused in artificial intelligence related to animal sciences.
