12^th European Symposium on Poultry Genetics

Location: Tuusula, Finland

Brief info:

The scientific program will contain sessions on genetic engineering applied to chickens, genetic resources, biological limits in breeding and genetic approaches to improve welfare as well as new phenotyping methods in poultry breeding and genomic developments in other bird species.

Internationally renowned speakers will give keynote speeches, and in addition short presentations of submitted abstracts and poster presentations will be of significant importance.

Working Group 3 aims at supporting scientists in the early stage of their career and promote their participation to conferences. Best abstracts will be selected to be presented in a PhD Award session.

We are looking forward to welcoming you in Germany for the 12th European Symposium on Poultry Genetics.

The Plant & Animal Genome Conference / PAG 30 is designed to provide a forum on recent developments and future plans for plant & animal genome projects. Consisting of technical presentations, poster sessions, exhibits and workshops, the conference is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and applications on this internationally important project.

World Congress on Genetics Applied to Livestock Production (WCGALP)

Location: Madison, WI

Brief info:

This is the premier conference for researchers and professionals involved in genetic improvement of livestock. Delegates from around the world gather every four years to attend the scientific program and to network with colleagues. This builds on previous successful congresses in Madrid (Spain, 1974 and 1982), Lincoln (USA, 1986), Edinburgh (UK, 1990), Guelph (Canada, 1994), Armidale (Australia, 1998), Montpellier (France, 2002), Belo Horizonte (Brazil, 2006), Leipzig (Germany, 2010), Vancouver (Canada, 2014), Auckland (New Zealand, 2018), and Rotterdam (The Netherlands, 2022).

The 2026 WCGALP will be co-costed by Iowa State University, University of California-Davis and University of Wisconsin- Madison.
