There used to be many free services such as tinyurl.com, bitly.com, etc. However as bot hackings and abusive use becomes a way of life on internet, the free/open access to these services are becoming harder. We have created such service for the community members on AnimalGenome.ORG, easily accessible by those who has an AGRC directory account.
