US National Animal Genome Research Program (NRSP8) Summer Workshop

A two-day workshop connecting experts in genetics/genomics with other animal scientists, engineers, and industry leaders. June 6: UNL Campus Union Building • Basic/introductory - Terminology, background, overview of key approaches, data types, etc. • Intermediate - Work through a basic pipeline/workflow with toy data. QC, mapping, etc. • Advanced - T2T, pangenome, pipeline development, etc. June 7: Embassy Suites Lincoln • Species interests or special interests (e.g. making tests more affordable, disease diagnosis, precision phenotyping, etc.) Capped at 150 participants to facilitate networking and collaborative connections. Registration free, meals included.
